About
Magician Eric Conover started learning magic when he was 5 years old. He learned the old-fashioned way – by reading books, applying imagination and practice.
Fast forward 51 years that include a career spanning thousands of magic & illusion shows at theme parks in Lake George, NY and Pigeon Forge, TN, hundreds of birthday parties, and even his own dinner theater, and you have a well-seasoned professional who can easily entertain a crew of young people, the toughest audience there is.
Eric has done a lot to become this kind of performer. Acting school (Mason Gross School of the Arts), a scenery job (Adirondack Scenic in upstate NY), learning to build props (he makes all his own), score music — the list goes on and on — these all contribute to the big picture. Eric served as the president of an International Brotherhood of Magicians ring (Ruth & Clark Fonda, ring 186) a few decades ago. Eric has designed, built and performed his own illusions, one of which he performs in every show.
You get the idea- Eric LIVES for this stuff. This passion shows in the show.
